My experience is entirely different from yours. In my case, the court ordered access for the children despite the following:
ReplyDelete1. The father was then serving jail for extreme domestic violence.
2. The children had witnessed the stabbing and one even had a permanent scar for trying to protect his mother.
3. The father was negligent in his role: he was not paying a single cent for child maintenance and did not bother to write in two years (save for two short letters).
